    Low Boost Problem

You could try what I did, which was plug the boost source at the turbo, bypassed/eliminating your wastegate solenoid. Carefully what your boost gauge and see if the boost goes above 12psi.

    I Want E85

I seriously want to run E85 in my 87 GN. The current gas prices, supporting the arab nations and cheap 105 octane are my reasons. I know I will need to swap out any rubber hoses and probably the Walboro 340 pump I just put in (right?). I have aftermarket 50# injectors and the rest of the...

    Low Boost Problem

Good call ShadowII. Bypassing the wastegate solenoid resulted in the car going into full boost. Now I just need to find an alternate wastegate controller/actuator. Thanks.

    Low Boost Problem

I have the rubber hose connected from the pressure source fitting of the turbo connected to the one hose barb on the wastegate solenoid which then goes to my needle and seat, manual boost controller. As I have driven the car, I do notice the when I begin to open the needle and seat, I...

    Low Boost Problem

I will check on the wastegate solenoid, which is the high pressure aftermarket (stock type) adjustable one. I thought there was only one port on the solenoid but I will double check the hoses going to the turbo and solenoid when I get home. Thanks and I will keep you posted.

    Low Boost Problem

I have an 87 GN with a TE44 (5,000 miles), 50# injectors, chip, hotwire, 340 pump, 3" downpipe, 2.5" SS ATR dual, ported throttle body, manual boost controller, KN cold air, new hoses including HD clamps, stock headers. Several weeks ago the car only runs to 10-11 PSI. I currently have the...

    Rear main seal problems?

I just bought my 86 GN last week with a nasty oil leak. The previous owner told me it was the rear main seal and added it was replaced a few years back. To my delight, I pulled the pan and realized the rear main was good. 3 days after only the replacing the oil pan and NO LEAKS! I lucked out!:D

    Springfield Armory

On the Para you can get pre-ban mags for around $60. If you have smaller hands the single stack mag grip will be nicer though, I do concur. :)

    New GN buyer

I found an 86 GN with 60k miles on a solid body but may need paint for $6800. Good deal? Anyways, is there anything I should look for regarding if it is a real GN or a T-type? Thank you much -Dan
