The stock trigger rings are generally off by up to 3 degs. and they are prone to slip way out of time. If two cyls. are firing 3 degs advanced, and those two are right up against their knock timing, then 4 cyls. are timed up to 3 degs retarded, where as your engine is not timed to its potential...

Don, how about taking a virgin stage 2, on-center block and angle boring the cylinders toward the power stroke , freeing up power,and creating a virtual longer rod ratio only on the power stroke. You could probably get more angle than would be needed with a virgin block. I'd bet that just .050...

Don, You can still improve your 100% meth fuel by adding gas as an ignitor, acetone as a blender and molecular lube, and top end lube,fuel lube . This is a better fuel than 100% meth, without any drawbacks that I can see. IMO I would run this improved blend meth and never go back to straight...
