    Head-stud access

Nick, Thanks, I think I'll give it a go when the headers are off the car.

    Head-stud access

I'm just getting ready to do a head re torque on my new motor after putting it through a few good head cycles and some moderate boost. In the past I've always had to pull the headers to get proper access to the studs. While the headers (TA Perf) are off the car I'm thinking of machining the...

    Aftermarket shifter for 200r4

Precision Performance Products. I also have a Hoffer build trans with the stage right. The PPP is not as slick if you launch from the the transbrake, due to the shifter gate pattern (first is down and back from 2nd, 3rd and drive are a slap forward once in 2nd). I tend to use the linelock more.

    RJC Megacooler 315-XTF

Another vote for the 315-XTF. I recently put one on my car, about a month ago. Last week the temps here in Utah were 100+, no issues idling or in stop and go traffic with stock thermostat and dual electric fans. As always, Jason makes a great product.

Cooling vacuum fill - vacuum loss question

Dave, Thanks - I noticed my S-hose is not sucking down so I have a look at the connections. If that isn't it, I think I'll fill it, pressurize and starting looking for leaks. Thanks Paul

Cooling vacuum fill - vacuum loss question

It doesn't seem to level off, and contInues to loose vacuum, but it is slow. After 20 minutes I was down around 19 psi (starting around 24 or so). I'm also not able pull anymore than 24 psi of vac? Are you able to reach 26 or higher? Engine is new, all hoses are new, double checked all my...

Cooling vacuum fill - vacuum loss question

I'm in the process of filling the cooling system on my new engine - system is currently bone dry. I have a AirLift vacuum fill system to make easy work of the task and ensure all the air bubbles get removed. When I pull vacuum on the system I easily reach ~24 psi (instructions say to get the...

Won't crank - security wiring help

Added wire to ground off the 85 terminal to complete the trigger for the relay. Car cranks now. Not sure if I should leave the relay or just wire direct.

Won't crank - security wiring help

All, I'm putting my car together - new engine/trans and rolling chassis (new to me). When I went to start, no crank. Battery was Good, headlights did not dim in start position, verified correct wiring, and that the starter and PN switch were working. I then checked for voltage on the purple...

    My 87 build thread/4.1 stroker

TT/Ameasap - Thanks, after years of riding Hondas, yamahas, etc, this is the first Duc I've owned. Nothing quite to compare it to other than my old RC51 Honda which was a great track bike. A few updated pics - RJC Megacooler is in. Precision Performance Products shifter. Working on the fuel...
