Check all your fuses, and fusable links at starter, but more importantly, check the grounds at the back of the cylinder head and on the bell housing. If all those check out, swap out the ecm with a known good one and see if it will communicate with the scan tool. Check out...

Where you able to build any pressure with the drill? Sometimes the pump won't be able to suck any oil out of the pan without the help of the petroleum jelly packed into the pump. I would first check all the passages for casting flash as posted above, then try packing the housing with petroleum...

Did you get pressure when you primed it? You have the correct gears for the housing? Is the pickup tube sealed well to the block? Did you pack the housing with vasaline before primeing? Sorry to answer with a bunch of questions, but the more info the easier it will be to figure out.

Are you refering to the check valve on the fuel pump, or in the purge system? I first noticed it after letting it idle for about ten minutes, I had just flushed the cooling system and was bleeding the air out, so no boost there.

This happened once before about 6 months ago, a new gas cap seemed to fix it, but another one bad in 6 months doesn't make sense. Anybody else run into this? Thanks in advance, James

Are you running the stock throttle body? Heads? The turbo is producing more air than the engine can use at part throttle. The charge actually "bouncing" off the TB and being pushed backwards through the turbo and stalling it, causing the surge in boost psi. There is a thread on the other board...

Sounds like compressor surge. What combo are you running? It usually pops up after switching to a front mount or even an oversized stock location intercooler. You may be able to tune some of it out, but for the most part people tend to change their driving habits. Do a search on compressor...

I'd put a set of Mosers in it. They are available through Summit, I think they are under 300 bucks. HTH
