    What would a set of champion irons do?

    If you are replacing heads I would strongly recommend a good aluminum head. They are lighter, flow better and disapate heat better and will put you in a better position for future upgrades.

    Porting The Porting is only a piece of the cost. In most cases we need the complete service done, valve guides, seats, back cut, springs, seals, etc. I am in No. Va. if anyone needs service.

    Brakes If the fuse blows after a few applcations of the brake it probably just needs the switch. I found one on this site, very reasonable.

    Heads Looks like you have good components. You would be well advised to take this opportunity to have your heads reworked. There is REAL HP to be gained there. Have a professional do it for you.
