Well I am going with a 3 core aluminum radiator and 160* tstat from gbodyparts.com. I will post how it does when I get it installed. Has anyone ever replaced a radiator? It does not seem difficult but I dont know.

Way2QWK, Why do you think I should get an old style radiator vice a aluminum?

If I got a new aluminum radiator would I need a water pump or anything? Would it be smart to get mine flushed and see what happens? I always think radiator flushings are a scam but I dont know.

Normal driving around it is around 170 degrees. When it got up over 180 it sputtered and died. I am thinking about getting a better radiator. I know it will get too hot again if I sit in too much traffic again.

Thanks for the replies. I will check that stuff out. I am thinking it might be something with the fuel as well. It seemed like the ignition and spark was fine because the car only acted up when I came to a stop. Thanks again.

I think it looks amazing. However, they should not call it a Regal or GN because it has none of the styling ques that made that car what we love it for. This is why the new GTO failed because it was a nice car with good power but it was not a GTO.
