    200-4R slow shifting into 2nd

I've been registered for years but haven't a Turbo car for a long time. I have the 200-4R trans in my `65 small block Skylark that I removed from an `87 T-Type but it has a GM remanufactered sticker on it and according to the valve body code it appears to actually be for an `86 Monte Carlo. It...

    Is my stock GN slow???

The `87 T-Type I bought new did a 14.11 in the 1/4 fighting for traction. Don't remember the mph but it seems like it was upper 90's. This was a long time ago and it was done absolutely bone stock including those worthless Eagle GT's. Those things would get stuck on a cigar butt. I do remember...

Can you by-pass the AC pulley?

Mine has an idler pulley on it that bolts directly in place of the a/c compressor. Don't know where it came from because it was on the car when I got it, but it appears to be a perfect fit. I don't need it because I am planning to go back to a/c. PM me if you're intersted. Bill

dubs dyno with a grand nat

It wasn't really popping, though. I really, really appreciate everyone's responses on this, but I feel I should point out that I have already removed the driveline from the car and parted the rest of it out so I can't really try any of it at this point. I have decided to rebuild it before...

dubs dyno with a grand nat

Crestview, 40 miles east of Pensacola, but it won't do much good now, I have removed the engine from the car. Thanks. Ever get out to Holt? Bill

dubs dyno with a grand nat

Thanks for the welcome, Jim. I don't care for those big wheels, either, but it would be a boring world if we all liked the same thing so I don't house any disrespect for those who do like them. After watching that video, I thought it would be a perfect opportunity to ask about the problem I had...

dubs dyno with a grand nat

As you can see, I'm new here, and new to the turbo cars. I had a brand new `87 T-Type. Should've kept it, but that's another story. Anyway, I got the urge again and since the original driveline in my `65 Skylark is exhausted, I bought another turbo car to use as a donor. Another `87 T-Type. It...
