    Newer blazer rear disc brakes

they need to be 2wd. and yes, the axle housing end has to me modified just like you would for the LS1 brakes. its the same bolt pattern. I'm not 100% sure about the spacer thickness, but i know you'll need one around 1/8" to 1/4"

LS1 front brakes on non G body spindles

the hubs i got from flynbye cracked around the stud. its really not a safe option. best thing to do is use corvette brakes on the blazer steering knuckles, or pay big bucks for the kore3 hubs. JMO

LS1 front brakes on non G body spindles

you cant just put the Blazer (as I assume you mean) hub on the g-body spindle. you would need the whole Blazer steering knuckle. so the answer is no. kore3 sells a billet hub that you can use on the g-body spindle for big brake conversions. and it's much safer than machining an old cast iron...

    98-08 Blazer drop & 11" brake combo

the swap has been done many times on s10 pickups on s10forum.com. they have the same front suspension as G-body's so there is no reason it shouldn't work.

    changing out brake lines

I'm actually in the process of doing the same exact thing. I got the set of 3 standard flare nut wrenches from Autozone for like $15. they seem to work okay. I did destroy the old flare nut on the passenger side and had to get a new fitting which of course was a pain since I had to cut and...

    36mm F-body swaybar problems

well I know it looks like the jounce bars will hit, but I've seen pics of them installed and clearing the bar (though very close). If I get home early enough tonight I'll try it and post the results.

    36mm F-body swaybar problems

After A LOT of reading and looking at pics of other installs I think I'm just going to shave some material off the top of the bushings so it bolts up flush with no stress on the bolts or excessive clamping on the bar. Hopefully once the swaybar is all the way up my jounce bars will clear.

    36mm F-body swaybar problems

well I measured and the bracket is 1 7/8" deep and about 2" wide, and I held it next to the F-body bracket, and they are the exact same dimensions so it appears that unless the F-body subframe is countersunk to allow for a larger bushing, the MOOG bushing won't work on either car. but I read on...

    36mm F-body swaybar problems

none of the threads about the F-body bar seem to address my particular problem. I am using the MOOG k6459 bushings with stock G-body brackets, and according to all the threads on here, it should just bolt right up flush. that is not the case. the bushing seems wayyyy to big for the bracket and i...
