What heat range do you recommend?Either will work in the correct heat range, get ready for the can of worms you just opened
I have been running the same plugs as you at .032, but have been thinking about trying the Autolites.I prefer NGK, Ur5s gapped tight.
Yeah, I should have mention that I'm running the stock 8445 heads.OK, my 2-cents. Since you didn't mention which heads are on the engine. For Buick iron heads AutoLite #144 is a great choice.
Resistor, non-extended tip, copper core, great price. Can't go wrong.

I have always been a fan of NGK's myself. I have them in just about pretty much everything I own, but I just wanted to hear what others thought about the Autolites.Take a look at the quality for yourself. Go to parts store and pull 3 or 4 plugs of each......ac delco, autolite, champion and ngk. Look at the the ground strap centering over the electrode, the electrode centering in the thread barrel right out of the box. The NGK's have always passed the test for me!!!
There are a wide range of good plugs out there I run AC in my GN gapped at .028.
This a little different but still a Buick. I switched my SC 3800 over to E85 and it had NGK 61X Iridium plugs in the car and it ran great on these plugs on 93 pump. But not on E85. The guy tuning the car was going crazy because the wideband was all over the place. The car was running lean and the more fuel he added the worse the car ran and still lean. He recommended changing the plugs. We changed to Autolite 104's and the car runs like a beast! lol Back to regular scheduled programming.
Thats not a fair assessment tho not trying fresh NGK plugs to see. Ive seen this before when tuning ....plugs can get glazed, worn, fouled as different AFRs, etc are tried duringh the tuning process and then a fresh set of plug from another brand gets put in and then the car runs better when all the while a new set of the other plugs were never tried.
X2..they have been great in my car...gapd@28OK, my 2-cents. Since you didn't mention which heads are on the engine. For Buick iron heads AutoLite #144 is a great choice.
