I'm seriously considering a Hellcat guys

I wasn't trying to insult you or anyone else. Well, maybe some of the HC guys. I didn't paint them with a broad brush, some are just pretentious and will shoot down a new idea without a thought. Hard to explain unless you experience some of the posts.

Good morning gentlemen, how is everyone doing? I was doing some web surfing and recently learned about the Challenger Demon that is reportedly too be introduced in 2018, AWD and possibly 800+HP. Any insight or knowledge about said beast?

I think we will find out in April. I'm hoping they build a HC Durango. If so, my grand plan is to sell the V Wagon in 2 or 3 years and pick up one of those.

A HC Durango would be cool! All this talk about Dodges has me reconsidering anything GN wise and considering a used 392 485hp/475ft-lb Challenger when I get my current vehicle paid off. One thing I have found/learned is that the 6-speed manual is not a rare option and can be found quite easily. My brothers wife has a early model, 2013 I think, with less than 30K miles and she loves that car. I need to go test drive one and get a firsthand impression.

You can see weekly Demon updates on Dodge's site. Little teasers I guess, it will be shown at the New York auto show in April.

I have been reading are blown hemi's are detuned from about 850hp to 707hp because of emissions. The Demon will be unleashing all of it as they apparently figured out how to make emissions with it.
That explains a pulley and tune netting 900hp to the wheels with these HC's...And everything holding together...along with the auto trans.

I can't wait to lays eyes on it. I have a feeling it's going to have GNX style fender flares.

I doubt emissions have anything to do with it. Keep the HC's 707, add the AWD and 8's just git the grocery's quicker.

Turns out they didn't (with diesel tech) and with that, they've now set the performance enthusiast back ten fold...There will be NO performance car produced by Dodge (Fiat) going forward that will not be scrutinized beyond belief. WTF were they thinking?

As long as they don't get caught again, just like VW and now said manufacturer, it might stand a chance of being manufactured and available for sale................ Honestly, all of these guys were/are complete fucking idiots........

CHEATING NEVER PROSPERS!!!!!!! And the performance side of Dodge more than likely now sullied and under much new scrutiny....... Perfect.

Don't believe?

Just watch these environmentalist bitches do all they can to shut it down.

This sucks.

Anyone remember this Tom guy? He was on the boards for a little bit before selling his GN, but here is a vid of him in a Hellcat.

Who makes it to 9 minutes and 22 seconds before romping a hell cat? Better still who goes 11 minutes and 41/43 seconds without roasting the tires on one! That video was a crap showcase for that car. Poo poo video for such a bad ass car.

Then you haven't seen the vid of the Tesla P100D spanking a hellcat?
If you're unaware, take that Tesla to the track and watch how quickly you meltdown the batteries trying to race it. Sure they're fast briefly, but they can't maintain or sustain it for too long. Otherwise, sit back and watch the show.

On another note, we had a hc driver this past weekend in my area perish in a carbecue. They estimated he was doin about a buck 50 on the wet, rain slick freeway. Ended up losing control and demolishing it so badly, that witnesses couldn't even pull him out the wreckage to save him from the fire that eventually engulfed it. Even after it was all over, emergency crews still couldn't pulled the charred corpse out.

I only have to spank you once! No need to hot lap anyway. Sorry to hear about the HC driver but why would anyone want to do 150mph on wet road? Your just asking for it.

We still have a 16 hellcat challenger on the showroom floor if anyone wants one under retail.

Like my Hellcat but love my Buick! People ask all the time, which one do I like better and the answer is the same every time.... Give me my Buick!
