Had a F150 ecoboost that towed the car like it wasn't even there. tracked MPG when towing and got 16 mpg with a open trailer.

2010 F450 -30ft hallmark 10mpg towing, 12 mpg around town with tuner on kill. feel like there is nothing behind

2005 Ford Excursion 6L. Tuned by Vivian at QuickTricks. She has awesome tunes. Typical mods. But man she pulls like there is nothing behind it. From a 40 ft camper to the car trlr. Mileage 18 on Highway loaded 12 no matter how big the trlr.

02 E350 super duty extended van . Gas hog but who is counting when there's plenty of room inside for 9 plus and towing a 22' enclosed?

2011 Silverado 2500 Duramax. 17 in the city unloaded, 24+ highway, 16.5 highway/city with a 22' enclosed loaded. And runs 13's in the 1/4.

2013 F150 Platinum 6.2L 14mpg, 11mpg towing. My father-in-law just bought the same truck with the little Ecoboost. He's not happy with the 17mpg; hasn't towed anything yet.

We used this mid eighties BBC Suburban when I first bought our enclosed. Definitely not for the faint of heart as it was solid in the single digits mpg. It had a 40 gallon tank and we stopped a lot as the kids were small.

Then we graduated up to one with overdrive and pretty much doubled the gas mileage though it gets 12-15 around town with out towing.
Id love one with the newer body style and an 8.1L. Not in the budget at this time. Though robzombie turned me on to a build of a 6.5L diesel so I am starting to study up on that path. I pretty much know how to fix most things on this body style as we have had several pick ups and a 94 1500 Burb too.

85 k30 with 92 TBI 350 , 30 over , 214 comp extreme cam, vortec heads, export tbi manifold, police injectors, ultimate tbi mods, supra pump, mid lenght headers, Harris tune, getting 17-18 mpg and easily tows trailer loaded to 12k

Like it says in my signature, a 2008 Ford F350 King Ranch with a 6.4 Power Stroke engine. Very happy with it and would definitely buy another one! (y)

89 Chevy C1500 2wd with a 5.7,extended cab, and an 8' bed with a camper top. 21 MPG by itself and 17 with a 21' open trailer towing almost 7K of weight. Braking is a little scary but I don't drive over 55 with that kind of load.

I was running a 2001 Yukon 4x4 with the 5.3 and finally wore the old girl out @ 255K. Traded for a 2013 Dodge 3/4 ton Cummins 4x4. Can't tell anything is even back there.

I found a couple of 2005 excursion diesels and they are still quite pricey at $22k-$27k I wonder if the mileage would go up?

2013 Dodge 1500 Ram Express with the tow package (rated at 10K #). Haven't had the chance to tow with it yet but unloaded it sucks gas bad, 12-13 on the street 18-20 on the highway.

My brother in law has a 6.0 Excursion. They went through their share of 6.0 problems at first but it's been great for a while now. They tow just a small trailer but I think it gets about 16-18mpg. Around here Excursions are in pretty strong demand, there's nothing really like them on the road.
