Pippen says Jordan's the greatest ever!

Scottie pippen

Is better then 90% of the guys playing today .. Its all about the money now ,not the game . And mj two steps from half court to slam it . Great player & a great spokesman for the sport .. To bad he didnt keep his wally at home ..

Lebron would be able to hang with Jordan for about 2.5 quarters and then Jordan would step on his throat. Lebron isn't wired properly for what he needs to do to be considered one of the best ever. That's why he signed with DWade. Wade is wired to finish big games.

I enjoy watching Lebron play but Jordan would own him badly over the course of a 7 game series. It would go very badly.

I hope the Lakers and Heat make the finals next year. I want to see Kobe have a shot at these guys before he's completely out of gas.

I was always a Larry Legend fan myself, but you can't argue with Jordan.
IMO Magic, Larry and Michael would own these playas these days.
A lot of these kids have very little in the way of fundamentals.

I loved watching Jordan play back in the day. Him, Spud Webb, Larry Bird, etc.

LeBron should not even be mentioned in the same sentence with Jordan period! I am thankful I got to see MJ and the Bulls dominate in the 90's as they did. One thing most people don't consider is what would've happened if MJ didn't retire when his dad passed away to go play baseball for those two years?? I would bet my money that would've been 8 titles in a row for the Bulls instead of two 3 peats!

That era of basketball from the 80's into the 90's was just awesome with Jordan, Pippen, Magic, Larry, Kevin McHale, Isaiah Thomas and his "Bad Boys" Pistons, Sir Charles, Dominique Wilkins, Stockton/Malone, etc. BTW, how in the hell did Bill Walton make the top 50 greatest players above Dominique Wilkins??:confused:

I agree with John that a lot of the guys coming in the league today are lacking big time in the way of basic B-ball fundamentals! Hell, half of them don't know the proper mechanics behind a proper jump shot and don't ask them to hit some free throws! They are obviously gifted in terms of raw athletics, but they sure could learn a thing or two from the old timers.

I still have my "Pistol" Pete Maravich drill VHS tapes around here somewhere, maybe these guys should borrow them.

Publicity stunt to get under Lecon James skin. Everyone knew he would choke and it was great for the sport. Nobody wanted to see anything else. I agree totally brick and Dominique was top 25 or better and if it wasn't for playing for craplanta he might have been even larger that life. Today's players are over paid fools. Not even worth turning the channel to.

Yeah I really enjoyed watching Dominique play. Too bad he never had a decent team around him cause he really was an awesome player and very fun to watch.

Another great player that LeBron could learn a thing or two from is Robert Horry AKA "big shot Rob"! That guy was Mr. Clutch in the playoffs and always hitting the big shots when his teams needed them. Very humble guy as well, didn't talk smack like LeBron and he has 7 rings to show for it!

One of the best games I have ever seen:
