OFFICIAL: wheel/tire picture thread... show em off!

Thanks alot!! I got them from OE Wheels, you wont believe it but it was $420 for the set! Check out the site, they are actually Mustang rims. I needed to use adapters to mount them but it all worked out. I had a local shop make me vinyl stickers for the caps, a little touch that made a big difference. They really pop out in person, I used black lugs also to keep the whole center area black. With the whole set-up 4 rims, 4 tires, lugs, adapters, cap sitckers I've got $1200 into it.....very happy with that!

Brady, can you PM some details too me about that, I'm seriously considering this route!

I just got a set of street lights, 15x10 5.5 bs with a 1/2 spacer and 15x7, 3.5 bs, frame notched with 325's. Really diggin em:smile:

stock gn black out wheels

After considering many wheel options i opted to stay with the original 87 wheel which we all know screams Grand National just wit more of a sinister look to me. I still love my AR torque thrusts , just changing the look for a few months. Better than leaving a 2nd set wheels to rot away and take up garage space.

they were easy to do. First i sent them to the powder coat guy to get then sand blasted. i opted for urethane paint with clear coat rather than powder coat because you can get a much higher gloss with urethane in my opinion. So off to the paint shop and wallah high gloss black stock gn wheels. i then wanted something different to make the wheel pop, so i added a reflective black 5/16ths vinyl stripe around the perimeter of the wheel so when on coming lights hit it lights up. i just used the stock lug nuts

I'd still love to have a set of 18" OEM look aluminum wheels.

I've looked, but so far nobody makes them, and have an engineering team standing by to digitally map a 15" one, then scale it up, and have a set of new centers machined, probably at MHT, not sure.

If the economy were holding water, I'd invest in it and try to recoup my investment and maybe, just maybe, turn a profit... but for now, we've got an economic hit-man in office, I'm just burying guns and gold.

Search this thread I saw some made about three months back. They are nice.

Had these for a few month's just never posted a pic . Intro GT sport billet wheels with black powdercoated centers . 17 x 8 w/5' backspace (front) 17 x 10 w/5.5" backspace rear. Tires are Nitto extreme ZR 245-45-17 (front) Nitto drag radial 315-35-17 (rear)

Awesome looking rides and wheels...So whats the biggest wheels/tyres you can fit without notching or any other mods on a GN with GNX flares im wanting either 17 or 18" diameter wheels and hoping to lower the car just down over the tyres .its gonna be all about the dish :D thanks Sean
