I must have missed it but what motor mounts did you use?

Oh and The car is awsome!

:)Im doing the same thing but Im going 6.0 4l80e. My car is a fake T type. I might have alot of questions if you dont mind.

No I did not.

I will get ALL the info on these rims tomorrow i PROMISE. I have had alot of PM's about them, hang in there guys, I will not let you down :)!!!!!!!

Well Stroker, I just want to say I really like what you have done with your GN! I just have a couple of questions.
1 With the time you have been driving it what kind of MPG has is logged?
2 What kind of processor and harness did you use? FAST, modded stock for the 5.3?
3 Can you give a quick account of how it is to drive. I would think it would have lots of usable torque for street driving.
Lots of props on not only building a great car but taking the time to document, take pics and then listen to guys give you grief over what you did. Great job and I look foward to any updates you can provide for some of us who are thinking of this type of swap. Thanks Jon Hanson

Holy crap, they sell them in different colors now?????????

Man, the only sold them in flat black when i bought them:mad:

Looks like I need to buy another set haha

The bolt pattern for these are 5x120 which is the same for 5 and 7 series BMWs. Did you use cocentric ring spacers or wobble lug nuts? I was looking a Beyern rims but they cost way too much money. Yours are priced just right.

You did a great job on the car. I have built a number of Mopars from start to finish and know how much work it is. I am now switching back to turbo cars and hope to have my first Grand National project done by May 2011.

Nice work! :)

For me I would want to see a more polished install 1st but since the pics are posted... I think it has a home-brew modified look to it. Sorry!

I don't CARE really as it isnt my car but I suppose what bothers the purist is when a car like this comes up for sale with the owner expecting the purist to want this over an OEM version. Although this sort of thing happens with other makes more I think. Im a bit brand loyal if you cant tell but appreciate what you have done here as it seems to be a lot of work in short time spans.

Also: I hope you didnt throw out the parts in the trash pile unless they were really trash. Some folks might have been able to use them. Its moments like that which give the impression you don't really care for the car or value its identity... you just want the "look"... which will ALWAYS lead to why you didn't start with a reg Regal. I really like GN's except for the engine, transmission, suspension, brakes, wheels...

Ok that was negative. Scroll:

Wheel choice: big thumbs up!
Fun to drive combo? Check!
Proper stance? Got it!
Something different? Check!
Able to practice some fab skills? Check!
Attention to (most) details: yes!
Not afraid to do what you want: priceless.

Great job! I'm dying to do an LS swap and something like this would be perfect. I saw that you ordered the motormounts and got a hummer oil pan, but what about the transmission crossmember? I'm currently thinking of a Hurst/Olds. Nice find on the rims too. Their inexpensive and look great!
