bison i hear cha-ching cha-ching!!!!!!! great idea

I agree, bison does his homework, and you can tell that he probably sleeps in the back seat of his gn, eats breakfast, lunch and dinner off the hood, and balances his checkbook with the speedometer needle. All kidding aside, he always has very knowledgable input on what seems to be EVERY topic, with a little bit of opinion thrown in.

Yep,but none of them post and give advice like Brian does, even hte vendors!

i was just making the point that we have great group of guys around us that are seriously interested in these cars and there is a ton of knowledge here in the northeast. i have sold parts to all the people i mentioned including you and brian and i thought everybody was a great group of guys!!! some post, some don't, some used to post but that was not was not my point! my point was we have bunch of good guys in the northeast that was all

Bisons knowledge is something most of us will never obtain because we do not seek out the smallest detail in setting up a combo. I have noticed him talk about combos where "if you went to a different exhaust wheel" or "different grind on the intake side of your cam"...and so on. Most guys look in the catalog or at a web sight and decide which part suits them best or the most popular. Bison sounds more like I use to be with my 409,"Make me a cam with this intake lift @.05 and this exhaust lift and this centerline..." You get my point. He is the EXTREME PERFECTIONIST...and we thank him for that. I am getting ready to sink alot of $$$ in an engine. His feedback will determine how my $$$ gets spent.

Thanks Bison,
Coach

I always enjoy reading his posts. It's usually way above my head but just incredible how much a man can know about these cars. He looks like a pretty big guy so you'll never hear me argue with him, LOL.

Brian is the man! He has helped me out countless times and is an asset to our community! He is a great wealth of knowledge and is a total crack-up to hang out with! A very self-less person when it comes to helping others, and a really good guy to have around for advice when those stomach churning WTF problems arise!

+1

Bison goes out of his way to share his knowledge and answer questions on here. Giant asset to the turbo Buick Community.

My personal experience with Bison started out bad. He got SHAFTED on some parts I sold. We had a tissy-fit and got over it. He later offered to help me find some parts or give me tech advise with my now deceased father in law. Thanks man.

I have raced in the NHRA stock/superstock classes(crew) and those guys hold all their cards close and don't give out much info(007).I buy a GN and guys like Bison floor me how much they help.:DI am considering building another Buick for my daughter when we are done with Jr. dragsters and it is because of people like this that I am looking forward to racing more with the buick guys. Thanks

Kevin

I had a big argument with Bison one time in the lounge, and a couple days later he's giving me advice on a problem I had...That's a class act right there....he even helps out people who piss him off

This is very true, except I think I bought something from bison THEN later on pissed him off :p

But all the same, he's a very good guy for us to have around, kinda the same with Otto even though he and I aren't exactly always nice to each other
