    Quick MAF question

I'm getting the LT 1 MAF and translator for my 84, will the 3 1/2" MAF fit with my stock intake piping? The tape measure says it will but I have my doubts.

Think I've maxed out my injectors.

Installed my new alky system which is a kick in the butt when it comes on  but I still cannot raise boost or timing without knock and low O2's :frown:. Injectors are stock and have about 126K on them, so it looks like I've milked them for all there worth, and some . 60# injectors...

Anyone know offhand where I can find some of the little rubber o-rings which go on the FPR? Just noticed mine is leaking slightly.

    Is this bad?

Thought I'd do the car a favor last night and clean out the intake a bit. Took some carb cleaner and a rag to it (it was nasty in there) and cleaned it up a bit. Jumped in this morning drove to work and the car seemed a little sluggish but runs ok. Checked the scanmaster and the IAC went out of...

    HA Injector Swap? DIY?

Looking at swapping my stock injectors to 42's as part of my ECM upgrade. Looks like the fuel rail is burried in there pretty good. How hard is it? If it's harder than changing the #6 spark plug :mad:I may pass on it for now.

    Casper knock gauge problems?

I was wondering if anyone else has had any problems with the Casper knock gauges. My 84 GN seems to chew them up and spit them out in a matter of days. Both Kirbans who I bought it from and John over at Caspers were great when it came to troubleshooting the first one that died and then replacing...

    HA Boost Control Help....

Currently I'm running a non-adjustable WG actuator at 10psi with a 12psi surge. I'd like to install an RJC Boost Controller to make adjustments and hopefully get rid of the surge. Does the boost controller go between the WG actuator and the current controller attached to the valve cover...

    Flooded vapor canister?

Dropped a new Walboro 340 fuel pump in the gnat a couple a days ago, everything went pretty smooth especially since the tank has never been dropped before. I got it all back together, poured in a couple gallons of gas and went for a drive and sure enough the o-ring didn't seal (I thought it went...

    Cool Fuel ?

Ever noticed these cars run much nicer, more horsepower, and less lag on a cool dry morning. After the car has sat on hot pavement at work all day and as soon as I start it it's not the same high energy car I drove into work with. It even makes a gurgling sound during any acceleration, soft or...

    Hello from Upstate N.Y.

Well I just brought the car out of hibernation and it's very excited (I can tell by the various fluids on the garage floor) . Me and the gnat have been burning some rubber and turning lots of heads for 20 years now, it never gets old. Back in the early 90's I managed to catch a couple...
