I was hoping I'd get to run the GN into November but if the salt trucks come out she's off the road and put to bed until sometime in May, if the weather is looking good.

Well..... I bought, or maybe I should say rescued, the GN from the second owner who drove it all year round. It was 4 yrs. old and the bottoms of the doors had already rotted away. If you take very good care of a daily driver you may be able to hold the rust off for 10 or 12 years max.

yep, was snowing this morning:mad:! actually, that means we are one step closer to spring when my car will be finished...;)

That can work both ways, either it will make winter l-o-n-g in anticipation or give you enough time (and money) to finish it so it will be ready.

Yea, I thought about that to. Once it's finished in a couple months I think ur right. Atleast I know when the snow melts it will be turn-key finally!

How long has your car been in tranformation? It would kill me to have a nice car like that just sitting.

wow already

i don't know what i would do if there was snow on the ground for 6 months of the year. an old X went up to ohio on thanksgiving several yrs back and said the snow was so heavy they had to stop driving and didn't know where the road stopped and dirt began. several ft a night was the norm. screw that, to used to texas, where i'm at we're lucky to get 2-3 days of snow a year and sometimes it ices but usually doesn't stick for long.

That could mean TODAY was the LAST RIDE for the LIMITED.
UGG that is way too soon.

We are usually good til turkeyday. Glad I hit the strip this past weekend

Yep.... woke up to about 5" of the white stuff this morning. It wasn't sticking to pavement (no salt) but gave some trees a good working over and caused a few scattered power outages.
