    1986 T Type - Cape Coral, FL

Hello everyone, I sold the T-type yesterday (6/14/2014). It was sad to see it go. Praise the Lord that a nice young man bought it and will enjoy it. The mileage was 141653.

    1986 T Type - Cape Coral, FL

I sold the car on 6/14/2014. Thanks everyone for your interest. Price: $2800 Quick summary: It does not run. It is silver. It really looks pretty decent overall. The interior is dark blue. It has the Buick 3.8 V6 turbocharged / intercooled engine. The car certainly has some rust. I have made...

    V6 bellhousing

I think you are asking which transmissions have a bellhousing that matches the Buick V6. Of course there is the 200-4R (you probably know this). Turbo 400 and Turbo 350 as well. Or maybe you are looking for a manual transmission bellhousing?

    Solid lifters (flat tappet)

I am looking for solid lifters intended for a flat tappet camshaft (not roller) for the Buick V6. Just for checking valve events and valve to piston clearance. I am pretty sure that the SBC and Buick lifters are the same diameter - 0.842". Has anyone found that the height of the SBC solid...

    700r4

I think you can check the detent spacing. Here is an idea. Install the shift cable completely on the transmission end. Install only the clip that holds the cable in place at the shifter. Don't install the cable end (eyelet?) to the shifter. Put the transmission in a gear detent position. Put the...

    Ta Timing Chain

Most times we set the engine at #1 TDC by aligning the timing marks then install the new timing set. The dots on the timing gears to tell us that they are installed properly if we set #1 at TDC before installing the new timing set. If you are talking about degreeing the cam, that's probably...
