OK Ford Vs. Buick Oct. 27th - Headsup Racing - Countdown Begins

thanks for the heads up Mike.. is your brother going also?

Next year, Phil. I'll be moving up to the 2nd highest Division and can afford to lay off one weekend of football for car stuff. I need to get rolling with this bad ass block I got. Got all the pieces, just need to start wrenching on it. Have a good time, I'll see you at SA Raceway one of these nights.

I will be there. Put me down for somewhere between 11.50 - 10.99
Anything faster will be a bonus. Looking forward to it.

Mike

I'm gonna be there. look for high to mid 11s. Also bringing my buddies t-type hopefully low 12s.

Are you for sure staying at Ruby's? How far from the track is it??
I can tell you that Ruby's is only about 5-6 miles south of the track. However, if you blink, you will miss the turn that will be on your left. There is a city sign with an arrow pointing to the road to the racetrack; but it is easy to miss. I would highly recommend printing a map from the net.

Don't have nhra lic. are i would bring 7second buick fron NC. Raced at BG,Bristol, rockingham but they would'et let me run in columbus

 You're killing me! We need a 7 sec. Buick there really bad. It is not too late unless you just don't have the free time to do it before then. :(

John can we get a waiver for this one?

Anybody staying in OKC?

Better question: If I blow up is anybody gonna tow me to OKC ;)

I hope I don't have to drive mine all the way from Amarillo, I am trailerless at the moment.

my only suggestion is to turn it down and run some 9.5's or try to shoot for your license "that day". Saftey is #1.

Joe,
Yes, we are stating at Ruby's. Clean, cheap Hotel. It's about 12 miles from the track. Nice easy drive. Hope to see you up there.

My dad and I made reservations there as well and should be in OK. sometime in the early evening on Friday for T&T at the track that night. We need to get my dad's GN dialed in better. He went to the local track last Friday and only got 3 clean passes with the new motor...he needs a bunch more dialing in to get it where it needs to be;) I'll be in my white Chevy 1 ton with the white enclosed trailer (KS. tags)...look me up at the motel or track.
