Zylene ?

I see a lot of guys mixing this stuff with their gas to
boost the octane. Does it work ? And if so,how do I
mix it ?

When I first did xylene, I mixed about 20% xylene to 80% 93 octane gas, plus about 2 ounces of Marvel Mystery oil for every gallon of xylene used. I don't really think the MMO is necessary for the weak mixture plus infrequent use.

I bumped the boost from ~16 lbs to ~19 lbs on that mix with a Red Armstrong 93 chip and basically stock car. No knock.

Even with the alky, I still splash in a little whenever I go to the track. I also put it in the wifes Ford Exploder sometimes to clean the fuel system/injectors.

Some guys do 33%, then I'd definately use the MMO.

I've ran a 3:1 mix in both my cars and they ran the times below. Fun on the street also without killing the O2. Use 5 gal in a full tank of 93 or 94 and about 5 oz of MMO. Tim
