A friends car only getting 4 injectors firing verified with a noid light. What could cause this?

Need a lot more information. What ignition? Is this during cranking or while trying to run? I assume you have the correct firing order and # of cyl's, etc.. in the tune.

Cal its a stock ignition. Its happening during cranking and is not starting. Double checked the firing order and number of cylinders in the tune and is correct. Car was running prior to engine being rebuilt.

If it's happening during cranking, the XFI should be pulsing all 8 drivers equally. Are 4 lights on the XFI box flashing then 4 other lights flashing during cranking? I have never seen this before.

Sounds like a bent pin /pushed in the coil pack connector...if it won't start its getting a random cam sync maybe check all those connections.

Update: found blown CCCI fuse. Replaced and blew when cranking again. Disconnected the module harness and did not blow. Replaced module and did not blow. However still only getting the 4 lights on the ECU and again verified cylinders 5&6 not getting injector pulse. Also when ports A&B jumpered on the diagnostic connector the ECU will not go into flash mode nor will check engine light come on.

Is this using the caspers adapter box or stand alone harness? ANy pinched damaged wires under the hood? If a new motor was installed something had to be damaged during the process...

YOur lights should be flashiing like this..............
