That's funny Caspers sells the same thing. With a little jumper in their adapter box to switch between factory EGR function or the auxillary sensors. Come to think of it the pic looks just like Caspers harness. Things that make you go hmmmmm.

Jr,
It is true that Caspers is making the jumper harness for me. This was an idea that we came up with and asked him to produce, just like the distributor adaptor. Not sure of your intent here.

KL stated that Hartline Peformance is making this so called harness. Then Hartline Performance states that he is, in fact, not making the harness, that Caspers is. Just trying to keep the facts straight and not mislead any future buyers of this product.

Sorry,It should have read Hartline performance is Having them made.
Next time ill make it more clear,Sorry if you think that is misleading the public to a point they wouldnt be getting what they paid for

It is misleading because it can be purchased from Caspers direct or any of Caspers dealers.

I spoke with John at Caspers about a month ago about his XFI adapter harness and the different options. One of them being the option to either use EFR control or by switching a little jumper on the circuit board to be able to log fuel and oil pressure with a little jumper harness that he sells. I have seen this setup up at my local shop that I buy my Turbo Buick parts from. They have a couple in stock as we speak.

I will be speaking to John, and to avoid any confusion on your part, or any others, I will suggest that these items be available from the appropriate disignated Fast Dealer/Distributors.

This way you or anyone else will not have any cause to think anything is mis-leading :)

The place where I buy my Turbo Buick parts is a FAST dealer (one of the first I might add, dealer #3) and a Caspers dealer. And is also a supporting vendor of this board so maybe I should bring this thread to their attention so they can start advertising these parts. Thanks.

Would that be injection connection aka Berrel Auto?

Seems theres a problem with people posting about available parts from vendors for sale.
If your vendor sells the parts ill tell you what i told him when jumped into a group purchase i was doing

Go get your own Fvching thread, dont pollute mine with your bullsh!t.
If your vendor isnt smart enough to post these things for sale in his own threads dont ruin it for other vendors.

Does injection Connection make the harnesses themselves for their IAC setup?
If not ya think they better let the public know.

You like to drop names don't you. I don't think they ever claimed to make the harness. It is just part of the kit. A flat 4-wire to 4-wire square weather pack is not rocket science. It is more for convienence purposes, as in everything that is needed to install it. I have one on my car and it works fine. I find it kind of funny how upset you are getting when you aren't the one that is actually selling it. What do you stand to gain or lose from all of this? Do you work for Hartline Performance? I have purely stated the truth here and you take it personal.

I think that they have more important things to do with their time then spend all day looking at what gets posted on a forum. Apparently you are not smart enough not to get into a pissing match with someone when they call you on misinformation.

If you read my 1st post, I claimed Hartline was making a setup,This includes the sensors, the harness, and the adaptor.Cal does not make the sensors either. He was putting together a kit to sell,He puts kits together with a harness from caspers.I am not sure where the sensors come from. That is not misleading at all,Your twist into that he does not make the harness part of the kit is true,by i do not claim that he makes the harness.so where is my misinformation?

I have nothing to gain from this,Helping my favoorite vendor to sell parts thats all,You want to help yours go do it in your own thread,I have no problem with that.Undercutting someone in their own thread like Dale did was Bullsht,He could start his own thread with his own price.

You seem to forget that this is a public forum and the Injection Connection is a supporting vendor where as you are not. So I don't see how they were undercutting anyone. If Hartline Performance had started the thread then I could see that you might have a valid point.

 whatever supporting vendor or not, soming into anyones sale thread and posting your price is dirty business,I dont care if he gives them away for free,But It should be done in a post started by him or you.Not in a thread started by someone else.Thats just ****ty business.

You are acting like this is the first time "somebodies" thread was highjacked. Come on now. Thats what these threads are for. I don't think their intent was what you call "dirty" business. They were offering the participants of this board a deal on a product that they might need. This is America, home of capitalism. If you don't want competition start your own board and moderate it as you wish.
