Would I beat a 2000 Saleen Mustang??

Hello,

I have a question, my 87 GN is completely stock except for an exhaust system and a K&N.

Would I be able to beat a 2000 Saleen Mustang in the 1/4 mile??

I think they run about a 13.8 stock. Depending on how well your car is running you could possibly beat him. With some minor tweaking you could definately beat him. If you have ran your car what is you 1/4 mi time now?

One way to really find out. If the saleen is stock and your stock it would more than likely come down to tires. WHo can hook. If his car is a 5 speed and you get a jump he will more than likely try to hard to correct you jumping him and spin even more. I say you can, but that would be with me driving and tuning the car lol

Depends if the saleen is the base model or the supercharged model.Base model is pretty much stock motor.
