would a manual valve body have TV boost valves?

Hi guys,
newbie question here.

Got a buddy with a full manual reverse pattern valve body on his 2004r (texas art carr).
wondering if that piece requires TV boost valves. wanted to go with the PTS .570 and .400 units if so.

Or does the "manual" mean these are gutted altogether?

Thanks. :)

I thought a manual was a sort of instruction guide.

Good question though Pastry. I surmise that they are still needed since they go into the pump, but, at the same time the manual valvebody eliminates the need for a tv system altogether.

Does anyone know for sure? Chris?

I think you might be right Firechicken, but I was not sure.

Hopefully we will have one of the fine experts enlighten us??

Oh well, time to make the donuts. :D

Personally, I have never ....

seen a manual VB that worked correctly. NOT ONE.
TCI and I were playing with one, but still in design stage. I wouldn't trust that Texas Art Carr to build a pedal for my kid's bicycle, :frown: rather than a new design MVB for a 2004r and you guys KNOW I never bad mouth anybody in public or behind their back for that matter. I am working on one when we have time in conjunction with TCI.
So.... YES You will still need the valves as they do more than TV control. They control line pressure. Whether you buy them from us or not, you will still need the valving in the pump.
Hope this helps.

P.S. LOL ... Do you feel enlightened now?
