Won't start.

Looking for some help. I put a new coil pack on my car a couple of weeks ago and the first time out the car quit. Turns out, the new coil pack was the culprit when I noticed the back had busted out!!! This was a brand new NAPA Ecklund unit that retails for $120.00 (their best). I put the old coil pack back on but it wouldn't fire. This week end I went and bought a new coil pack and ICM but it still won't start. I have checked the ICM fuses and they are fine. Any idea's? I am getting good fuel pressure--42 lbs.-- but no spark at all. Thanks in advance for any idea's. Wesley:frown: :frown:

Check your crank sensor its around the harmonic balancer.

Are you sure you didn't fry the ignition module when the coil pack went?

I bought a new coil pack and ICM just in case. I'm not sure if the old ICM is fried, that's why I went ahead and bought another. I figure if it is still good I'll just have a spare. As for the crank sensor, I haven't checked that yet. Is there a way to check it without having another one or some special tool?

May have cooked the module under the coil.
