wiring a fan

putting a electric fan on my 84, was wandering the best way to wire the relays? run the pos or neg thru it? and where can I connect the pos wire?

The factory did the positive wire relay switch so that should work just fine.

I've used the back of the alternator big red stud to feed a fan relay.

IGN power to the relay coil + and ECM or temp. switch grounds for relay coil triggers.

I use snubber diodes too for added relays on the coils.
