Wirelessly play music from laptop on stereo?

I recently hooked up a wireless network in my apartment. It's great to be able to take my laptop wherever I want it and not have to worry about cords. Now I want to be able to play mp3 files on my laptop through my stereo, but I want to do it wirelessly.

I've been looking around I found the AirPort Express http://www.apple.com/airportexpress/

The thing is that I don't want to use iTunes and I don't really need the networking feature of it since I already have a wireless router.

Let me know if anyone has a better solution. I don't have a lot of money to put into this right now either, so keep that in mind.

I like the looks/features of that. I really don't even need/want a display, I'm fine with controlling it from my computer. I'll have to check out that Roku a little more though.

The display is just an added feature I guess. You can control it from Winamp, foobar2000, Windows Media Player 10, iTunes, etc. Basically from what I read about it this will do exactly what you want.

I work at HHGregg In huntsville and we have a JVC receiver that does just that via wireless USB ~$350, Nice unit. Not sure of the model # it's probably on the website.
