Wire harness issue after vacuum brake conversion

Harness is sitting on top of the shift linkage and can barely get it into park, key won't turn to start position in park.....tried pulling some slack in harness but it's bango tight...harness is not piched between booster and firewall

Try twisting the collar on the column before the ignition switch as you turn key.

Take the bolt that holds the hard plastic conduit out.. It's under the coil pak. This will allow you to move the harness around.
There's also a hanger that is screwed to the firewall, just to the left of the PM. Take it loose.
