Anyone have any idea what wires/connectors these are?
They are located by the heater fan. There are 3 wires on the connector - a green - a tan and a white. Its tough to see other colours on the wires (blk stripe etc) as they are so old and faded.
I cant tell where they go as the run out of the firewall area - up to a connector then back down underneath the heaterbox and fan area.
When apart the white wire (eng off key off) has 12V power. The others have nothing.
Car runs fine with them disconnected.
When connected they intermittantly draw power - make a click noise (indicate at battery with voltmeter they are drawing power) then click off 3 secs later. 5-7 sec later it starts all over again. Doesnt stop.
Its already cost me a battery - I have no idea what it is or why its drawing power or activating something then switching off???
I broke out my ECM diagram but cant ID the wires i'm dealing with...
