Typical questions here:

Any real difficulty in doing this?
How much are replacement parts?
Where? (hopefully not just a dealer item)
Any special tools required/needed?

This is the drivers side. The motor is intermittent. It may even be a switch problem.

On a seperate note:

A couple of months back I wrote about a carb rebuild. Turns out that was not the problem with the down on power and not achieving full boost all the time. The problem was the driver's side header feeding back into the air cleaner telling the computer to run lean. There were cracks on the #5 cylinder as well as a small one on #1. Someone mentioned that to me on this board a long time ago when I was having the Pass side rewelded. COuld call and thanks for all the help on that. She runs tons better and this week I am going to get that boost gauge installed to see what she is pushing. Had it not been for you guys, I would of spent over 300 and still had the same problem.

Thanks,

Desert-T

Problem fiexed: Turns out all that needed done was spraying some electrical contact cleaner into the switch. Works like a champ, for now.
