which internet security should i use?

What operating system do you have? This one is working very well with Vista and is very popular. Excellent spyware protection as well. I run it every other day or so and find 10-15 spyware items. I've removed over 1200 in 3 months.

Kaspersky.
Norton 360 is just their version of Kaspersky.
Now let's see if they can get it right.
Trend Micro is *okay*.
When I had a virus problem a few years back,the only online scan that found anything was Kaspersky.
The scans I did were with :McAfee,Trend Micro,Kaspersky,F-Secure and one other I forget.
Zero problems since Kaspersky.
I'm never ever going back,not a chance in h*ll.
Get the commercial version and you can scan drives from other computers [mounted as externals].

Someone gave me DVD Fab pro loaded with a virus. It blew right past AVG so I just downloaded this new program called avast found that and several others. Seems like a good program. It's in the top 5 best of the best. They let you download and use the pro version for awhile then you have to buy. I might keep this one!

windows xp is the operating system we have. my ol' lady works in the IT department at her company, she's been in the field for quite some time and can figure the heck out of server, office and home pc issues but security is something she is not familiar with. they use trend micro at her company, but home pc and server protection are two separate animals.
