I need help! My ported/roller/good motor is broken (lifter broke and took out roller cam)so I put a stock motor in and think I need to change torque converters.

I have 3 converters to pick from.

12" 2800 DelTrans
9/11 3k PTS
9.5" 2800 Yank GN Turbo Thruster

Combo:
Stock long block with new valve sping and timing chain only.
72lb inj.
66BB Turbo
ESP FM
etc.

I am currrently running the Yank. Don't let the 2800 stall fool you as I think it is looser than that. I was at the track last weekend and was leaving the line at 4000-4200rpm @15-20psi boost. The rpm's are staying up pretty high throughout the run and I think the loose TC is causing the motor to be out of its range. Spool up is definately not an issue now and I would think it will suffer alot with the 12" DelTrans but may be good with the 9/11. So I guess I am leaning toward the 9/11 but I wanted to get some opinions and see what you all thought.

TIA

I agree with the idea of tightening up the Yank some. I have the other converters already and was interested in which I should use in the interim/try first.
