Video from last weekend. 4,000rpm launch (1,000rpm BELOW the engine's torque peak). Car hit the wheelie bars hard and stayed there past the 60ft clock giving me NO indication the front end was going to come down. I lifted to bring the front end back down before it unloaded the back tires. When it came down I got back on it and it jacked the front end up again. Lifted again and aborted the run. 1.40 60ft on the back tires and crushed 4 primary header tubes (thank God the oil pan is ok!). The headers were ALREADY too small for this engine. Not good.

Lowered the launch to 3,600rpm (short shifting at 7,000rpm), made a pass with crushed headers and it still went 8.86 at 153mph. :biggrin:
