Wanted to throw this out there and see what everyone thinks it'd be worth...the one glaring negative is the trans is stock and slips a bit, so eventually it'll need one. Other than that it's a clean car with literally A FORTUNE in it!! I just got the car for $13,500 and I have NO money right now to do anything so I'm contemplating letting it go. It's a sad thing to do because I've always wanted one and this thing's BADASS!!

So again, negatives: Trans slips 2-3 shift, not horrible but it does. I'm sure it'll last quite a while like this but as I said I have ZERO money right now. Passenger door rubs the fender a bit, just needs the fender re-aligned, 6"x3" spot of paint missing on hood, and blower motor is shot. Not terrible things really, most are dirt cheap to fix. I'm just trying to be upfront about it.

Will include both a front mount intercooler, and set of stainless headers, both BRAND NEW, never on a car. No, I won't sell them seperate. If I don't sell the car then they'll get installed on it.

Paint is nice, body is straight, body & frame are solid, few surface rust spots on the undercarriage but for a G-body she's more solid than 85% of NE cars.

I'm not 100$ dead set on selling her, because I love the car, but right now this is my ONLY car and I have no funds to do anything. It's obvious I'm going to take a hit on the car but I'm hoping for $12k, if not I'll keep it and do what I have to. The car's been built with no expense spared, add some tlc and you'll have the baddest ass T EVER!!!

The motor pic is from February when the harness was done, since then it's had a new TIAL wastegate installed, new intake setup, and a few other odds/ends.

wicked look...:D

Thanks! I'm in a massive depression stuper that this is happening. I really don't want to let it go. When I pictured my dream buick turbo...this is it in every aspect. It'll definately make someone a sick car with just a little tlc. Anyone who knows these cars knows how easy a trans swap is...as long as you have the money for the trans in the first place. LOL!:D

Wow....my VERY first thought when I saw your pics....'REALLY cool!!!'

I will now go back and read your mods!! :)

edit: looked at your list. That trans is gonna hurt you. I think 11-12K is a good range for you. If it drives really nice and checks out with a mech I wouldn't sell cheaper IF YOU CAN AFFORD TO KEEP IT!!!!

I REALLY like that color. I would never repaint my WH1 a different color...but I want to pick up a that color eventually as well.

Good luck!

I've been a lurker on this site for years and I had to register and tell you how much I love this car! If I had seen this 4 months ago before I bought my Mustang, I'd have taken it in a heartbeat!

The car is beautiful! Do not sell it!!!!

Do you mind if I ask the exact color? This is exactly the shade I want on my G-body when I find one and I'd like to copy it if you don't mind.

Again. . . . . . . .

BEAUTIFUL RIDE!!!

WOW!!! Thanks!! I'm almost blushing...LOL!

I wish I knew the exact color code, if I do keep it I plan on finding out just for future reference. Don't quote me, but I believe it may be the maroon typically seen on the Monte SS. Someone told me that but I'm not sure how credible it is. Does look possible though...

I threw her up on e-bay too with a reserve of $11,500. I'd go that far without the headers/intercooler I was tossing in. I'm still not really sure I want to do this but if the money comes my way maybe.

Snapped a couple quick pics, please forgive the dirt on the floor mats. As I said it's my daily right now and I only stopped home to take a few quick shots so it's not very clean. If you look in the 1 interior shot you'll see the 1 and only rust spot on the car, in the door jamb below the a-pillar. It's only on the driver's side. Other than that everything's perfect. Doors are solid, trunk is, frame is, body is.

And is IS official, it's for sale. $12k as it sits with everything or I can negotiate from there without the spare headers/intercooler, and with stock driveshaft. Parts in it are definately worth more than I'm asking. And fyi, the internals consist of JE pistons, eagle rods, and scat crank.

Looks to be Dark Red metallic, a stock t type color.

Sorry...but paint work and tranny work are not "dirt cheap"

Thanks for your input! Glad there are some "experts" around. You're right...a 6x4" spot on the hood is certainly a fortune to fix. And lord knows the scratch on the front corner of the door can't be touched up with a simple store bought $5.99 bottle!! That's probably going to be THOUSANDS in "paint work" right there.

And the trans?! JEEEESUS!!!! THERE'S A SMALL FORTUNE!!!!! Trans is $1500 after core return for a built unit and if you have half a brain to put it in it's about 1.5 hours of work at best. Converter has about 5k miles so it doesn't even need that. WOW...you must be bankrupt at that point.

So lets call it a realistic $1700 worth of work and you have a T-type that can win at shows, road courses, and bracket races. Damn, I'm certainly raping everyone! But that's fine, go buy one for the same price with NOTHING done that'll have more rust, and more typical issues a 22yr old car has.

I'm being 100% upfront and honest here, the car has it's share of problems, not like it needs a frame off resto. And again, as I said, I don't NEED to sell it. If it stays I'll throw the trans on my charge card and call it a victory. If you don't like the car/price/mods/whatever, feel free to keep your opinion to yourself.
