SignUp Now!Here’s the plastic PCV valve that I’ve been running for years without issue when I had some high BLM issues .Update 6 months later! Finally got my new build in and running. Oil catch can is mounted to ac accumulator. Did notice my BLMs at idle are now 142 and after about 200 miles I had about 3 teaspoons of oil in the catch can. Not sure how good that Whoosh PCV is but did notice it is no longer on their site. Have a feeling it is working too good. Going to try restricting the flow is see what happens. Do NOT have any exhaust leaks pre turbo or vacuum leaks. Motor runs strong, vacuum at idle is 18-19. Here is a pic of the install. Won best motor at a show yesterday. Ran with no PCV for about 10 years but got tired of the fumes. WView attachment 408097
Here’s an old thread I just foundIt’s been many years since I found these . It was one of the Big Box Auto Parts Stores . Sorry, but I don’t recall the name though . Picked em up in the Philadelphia area.
Do a search under the part number 1162 , think these were listed under different manufacturer other then Deutsch
1kwiksix. Where do you buy the Deutsch fittings?? I can't find them online. Appreciate the help
I have mine in the same spotI just installed the newest style two stage catch can from Motion Raceworks (link here) behind the driver side headlights. You have to hug the frame rail, close but not touching, but if fits perfectly....the header panel barely pushes on the filter but nothing I'm concerned about. For the vacuum line I bought a 10AN ORB fitting with a 1/8 NPT center hole. From there I drilled and tapped it with a 3/8 NPT tap (you won't tap the entire "length" of the hole) to accept the 3/8 push to connect fitting. I couldn't find this fitting ready to buy, but maybe I didn't look in the right places. With this setup I'm able to remove the filter through the oval hole behind the catch can and install / remove the 10AN crankcase line. It's also easy to drain under the front bumper.

I ran the 10AN line along the driver side fender and then through the oval hole to the catch can...I checked and there is plenty of clearance for the hood to close without any interference. (The 3/8 vacuum line is hiding under the 10AN line...both fit)
