what sets the redline on these motors

what is the limiting factor for the redline on these motors? just curious if its the valvetrain or the bottom end. I ask because I ran into a local guy whos fairly heavily modded and was shifting around 6500 or so when i was talking with him.

Depends on the build, we had some go to 9000 RPM.

more curiousity than anything i know if you change all the internals you can get it to spin real high just wondering on something more stock is it because the flat tappet cam or th crank bearings etc. curious about my own as well stock bottom end with comp cams roller setup stock ported heads

Factory I think was 5000
