What sealer do I use for rear quarter windows?

Subject says it all? What kind should I use?

the correct thing to use is called window ribbon ,it comes in a box and it is rolled up with paper and comes in different thicknesses 3m makes it and you should be able to get it at any glass shop

What kinda stuff came from the factory? It was black and gooey. It came off real nice, it sticks to itself better than the window.

That's the stuff I used when I was redoing mine. I was going to use some 3M stuff that needed a caulking gun.

Just so happens the guys who were replacing my windsheild were finishing up and he gave me a box of that 3M ribbion.

Use the ribbon you will never get the windows out again if you use caulk.
