What kind of scanmaster?

So I've been putting it off for a while because I drive the car less than 1000 miles a year, but I'm finally gonna buy a scanmaster. What's kept me from buying one is my fear that I'll buy the wrong version or something stupid. I see version 2.1 alot but I saw one for sale that was version 3.0?? Does 3.0 even exist? Where should I buy one? If you need to know what my car has in it I can tell you. I appreciate any help

3.o is different application.
when, at some point you were to get a powerlogger, then you would get a 2.2 upgrade chip for it.
