The "SH" cap on the frame....I always wondered what this is or what it stands for? Can someone help?

Buick was thinking ahead when they built the turbo cars. The knew we would put big tires on so they put that plastic plug in there. The SH is there so when your big drag radials rub on the frame it prompts you to say SHIT.

This is from a post here, I wish I saved the author/link to it:

"HS=Frame assembly code. This number can also be found in the rear wheel house section. There
should be a plastic tag on each side. The correct code for the 86-87 Turbo Regal frame is HS.
Most 86-87 NA Regal and Cutlass frames use code HK. These tags are pressed in so they swap
out easily. Kind of hard to restamp the frame. Also the HS code would be on the Build Sheet."

it was just a wise crack to claude as the province of quebec seems different from the other ones in Canada LOL,,,,,claude and I are both from QUEBEC.

What would be the difference between a "turbo" frame And a "NA" frame?

Don't know the difference but they both have the same shitty welding.

Having a hard time believing there was any difference. Never heard any mention of a distinction between frames in all my 27 years of ownership.

No difference. Remember all the 78-88 Ghetto Bodies used the same frame.
