Im installing a new water pump on my 87' while it's off ima go ahead a change out the timing chain are there any more parts I need ???? I'm ordering Comp cam #3129 timing set, fel-pro timing cover gaskets cork, upper-lower hoses ,,,,, Thank's

Uhh... doing a waterpump is like a 20 min job. Why are you taking the timing cover off?

I didn't know if the timing chain was replace before I bought the car. I finally got in touch with the previous owner today and it was replaced last yr.So i just finished replacing the pump..Thank's Dan

The wp is a flowkooler hi volume pump gentek10..

Mine was the stocker, when I pulled off the cover (118,000) and it was ground down a bit. Kip had it machined to clean it up and used a roller cam button when I replaced the timing chain.
