What do I need to consider before buying a hot air car?

I will be looking at a 1980 Sport Coupe this week, for a possible purchase. What are some common engine/mechanical problems that I need to be aware of? It's an umolested, but high mileage car.
Also, does anyone have any pics of original interiors for Sport Coupes?

Make sure the turbo and carb is in good shape... if you get it, add a oil pressure gauge and make sure its pushing enough oil or the turbo will burn up.

Knocks, pings, and noises that you wouldn't normally hear on a regular car. Put your foot on the brake and make sure that the turbo's kicking in. Have you checked out www.beforeblack.net yet? Rich's site should help you figure out what may or may not be right on it.
