Weight difference Bench/Buckets?

I was wondering if anybody knew the weight difference between a factory bench seat and factory buckets. I would think the buckets would be lighter but I've never weighed a bench seat. I'm putting a car together and would prefer a bench but I'm weight conscious. I am also curious to know if anybody knows the weight of the Leir seats?

I am sure the bench is lighter than buckets. By how much? I don't know but you would have a far easier time lifting a bench than a pair of buckets:biggrin: If you ever have you know what I mean

I think it depends on the seat, I have picked up so heavy bench seat and bucket. I know this is no help lol

when i picked mine up man was it heavy. but then again it was a power seat as well.

I'm surprised nobody has ever weighed seats. I guess I'll have to take a scales to the junkyard Wednesday.

Kirkeys would be a great way to go. I would think the weight between buckets and bench is pretty minimal.
