Was bored last night and heard a few Buicks would be out running at Countyline so went over there to check it out. Laz was there tuning on Jesus's GN which made it's first passes last night with the new setup. It's a stock bottom end 109 with ported iron heads/intake, hyd. roller cam, 6776 turbo, custom Garrett core FMIC, FAST XFI tuned by Laz, and a TH400 with a trans-brake. First couple of passes he had to get used to driving the car with the manual VB, but on his third and final pass of the night the car ran a 6.47 @108+mph with a crappy 1.54 60'. Needless to say, this car easily has a good bit left in it and should easily run a 6.20-teen in the 1/8 especially with a better 60' and some cooler air cause it was really hot last night.

Here's a crappy vid of his pass that I took, very dark but you get the point.

James's GN which I believe ran a best of 8.3 @85mph on plain ol' radial tires. I think Jame's knows he needs some M/T Drag Radials;)

Kit car from New Zealand that I originally thought might've been an Ultima GTR but the owner said it was not. It is powered by an LS6 motor with a T56 6spd.

hey brick , thanks for the post of the vid and pics my friend has more vids but he gotta edit them to upload on utube, btw if it wasn't for my alternator we would have made a better et .

No problem. Yeah the alternator certainly didn't help things as the XFI was obviously adding fuel (correcting) to help save the motor, more the reason why it pays to do it right and get the XFI! If anything, just for that correction it can easily pay it self off.

Laz has been working on my car too, hopefully I'll meet you guys out there or at Palm Beach to get some times in. Nice Run.

when it comes to building or tuning a car laz is the man!! you'll be happy when your car is done. will be back at the track soon hope to see ya'll out there........
