hey everyone. I finally am at the last stage of assembley. Just filled the block up with some distilled and water wetter. Getting ready to fill trans up with fluid and remember that the lines to the cooler weren't installed. So, I slam the jack under and hoist the front twards the garage ceiling. After, getting the top line on, I noticed that there was a small drip coming off the trans onto my arm. Seemed to be coming from the top of the bell housing.

So, I guess my question is, is there a plug on top of the intake I forgot to install?

I checked out all my lines on top to be sure I hit all the clamps.

It could be coming off the back of the intake where the heads meet the intake or if you have stock heads it could be a freeze plug. Get a pressure tester and see where it squrts out.

ok. I just had the motor rebuilt. It hasn't even turned over yet.

Should I take my compressor to one of the heater box hoses and see where the leak is pissin out of? How else do I check for a leak?

You can get a radiator pressure tester at auto zone. One of the loan-a-tools. No more than 20 lbs should give you an idea. If you use your compressor you may blow something else.
