Well bought a te-44 from a turbo member bought did not send me a wastegate acuator. I had one of the adj. one and installed it. I had to retrofit it to make it work, well now I been trying to crank my boost up and I cant for some reason. It looks like that it is all the way screwed in but my boost does not go over 16 lbs. What can some of you experts advice me to do or tell me whats wrong thanks your your help.

Are you running the stock elbow with the stock puck?
Technically the 44 should work perfectly with the stock elbow, but if the puck inside the stock elbow doesnt seat correctly, it will cause slow spoolup and low boost because it is always leaking.

If you are running a aftermarket downpipe without the stock elbow, make sure the swing arm swings freely, and seats fine.
If its a ATR internal wastegate downpipe, the puck swing arm may stick
IF its a stock elbow, the puck may stick inside the exhaust housing.

Look for intercooler hose leaks.

Make sure the new wastegate rod is shorter than the factory one.

Is it slow to spool?

Also, since you purchased the turbo used, what downpipe was he using?
Make sure, cause stock is .75, atr is 1.50 internal or external, THDP is 1.25 and the new mark huffman is 1 3/8.
