Hey gents, I joined because I know you guys are the experts with this trans.
Looking to put one of these into my 1970 Olds 442 tribute behind my Rocket 350 with 425ft lbs.

Primarily looking for a core in the
Chicago area, N. Illinois, or S.Wisconsin or NW Indiana.

Per Chris @ Ck Performance, I'm looking primarily for a core from: (but suggestions are welcome)
1985-1988 Chevy Monte Carlo SS
1984-1987 Buick Regal with a 307 4bbl (or GN)
1984+ Oldsmobile Cutlass with 307 4bbl
1989 Trans Am turbo (iirc)

Can anyone ID a KC coded 200-4R on the tail housing tag ??
Guy said it's a 1986 Cutlass Salon but not sure if that was a V8 or not.
I've looked and looked and looked....to no avail.

But I do appreciate the offers.

Also another someone offered with no tag to ID it but he said it came out of a 1987 Monte Carlo LS.
Besides the VB is there any other way to ID it ??
