Walbro Hotwire Question

Just bought the 340 Walbro Pump w/hotwire kit.

Installation looks pretty straightforward. My question is- What do I do with the existing wiring going to and from pump? Can I just cut/tape off the wires at pump end? What about the other (power supply) end?

Did u read the instructions that came with the hotwire?

Who is the manufacturer of the kit?

Your factory wires activate the new relay.

it should piggyback in the plug one jumps in the factory plug and the other goes to the alternator

OK thanks to both of you...

I was under the impression that the kit replaced all of the original wiring but this makes more sense now that I've looked at the harness...
