Walbro FP all ok now?

My GN has been sitting for 18 years... FP is shot, need to replace it, and will do new tank, filter, maybe fuel lines, etc..

Is the Walbro a reliable pump now? I'm not looking for hyper-performance, I've never been to a track, but if I ever went, with some mods (alky, injectors, chip, tuning, etc.. ) and could break into the 13's, I would be tickled pink. While I'm into the tank I may as well upgrade from stock. Hot wire too, of course.

I was thinking of the Denso pump, and may still go that route, but I am a hot air guy after all ;)

Any experience with a Walbro pump model I should look for, or stay away from?

TIA

No way you need a denso on a stock-ish hotair.... may cause you problems with inability to get the fp low enough.... the walbro's are fine now... just don't get one from ebay.... go with one of our vendors and you'll be good to go... the bad one's were model Fxxxxx0169

Brian,

Thanks, makes sense, I'll go with the Walbro from a vendor here.
