Vortex exhaust cones

Anyone use these inserts? They are supposed to cut down on some of the noise but not affect flow. Seems to me that sticking one at the muffler outlet mike cut a little bit of the drone.

Tried one when I had a single 3" exhaust on my GN. Didn't make a bit of difference to me.

I installed one in my Gibson exhaust which is on my 2001 BBC truck. It made a HUGE difference in the drone at almost all RPM levels. I installed it in the tailpipe just after the muffler. I almost took the exhaust off the truck because it was so annoying. Now it isn't too bad but it does get tiresome after towing for long periods of time. Not sure how well it would work on a turbo car but for N/A it seems to work well.
