Carfax is like a million bucks now to use and they have bots looking all over the net for the words "free carfax" and they shut them down. You can try a google search of the vin. I found a car I was looking at was a flood car. This Jag looks like they have been trying to sell it for some time at different places so it's hard to tell. You can also just use www.kbb.com to get the value of the car. I use that combined with completed eBay auctions of the same car/miles to figure out where you need to be on price.
